It’s officially the end of an era for the Altmans. After 13 years and 11 seasons on MDLLA, Josh and Heather are leaving the Bravo show.

News of star Josh’s departure from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles comes after plenty of on-screen drama during season 15.

But the star notes that her departure “has nothing to do with the relationships on the show,” according to an interview with People.

Fans are taking to Reddit this fall to share how “sad” they are to hear Josh is leaving, and more are saying they’ll “miss” him.

He and Heather broke the news to the world via an Instagram post where they “thank so many people” for “joining them on the journey.”

They write: “It’s time to start a new chapter in life and spend more time with family.”

The decision has everything to do with family.

As Josh details how his departure from the show wasn’t due to tensions between him and co-star Flagg, he explains why “it’s the right time” to leave now.

Josh says the decision was “very hard and bittersweet,” adding that “the final decision was only made in the last few weeks.”

What it really comes down to is that Josh has a young family. Summarize the game in four words: “…the time is right…”

It’s no secret that his and Heather’s busy work schedules were taking a toll on their marriage; The scenes can be clearly seen in MDLLA season 15.

“Since season 15 aired, and now that we’re on hiatus, Heather and I have been spending a really nice time with the kids…” he says.

The head of the real estate agency adds: “We are at that moment in our lives when our family comes first and our children grow up very quickly. We just have to appreciate every moment and take it in.”

He says it is the “closing of a chapter” and adds: “My wife has been on that show since she was 20 years old. I’ve been on that program since I was almost a new real estate agent. We are different people than when we started the show. “We were babies when we started the show.”

Josh and Heather are parents to Ace Altman, 5, and Lexi Altman, 7.
