Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas has fooled everyone. She’s officially 50 years old, but viewers are convinced she’s only 35 since she started starring on the Bravo show.
Angie K and her husband Shawn Trujillo have been together for over 24 years. It was when The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star shared this news that fans were completely taken aback.

Angie Katsanevas is 50 years old
Angie K is 50 years old, much to the surprise of fans. She owns 10 hair salons in the Salt Lake City area and purchased the hillside property with her husband in 2020, after it was built.
Born on November 17, 1973, it took a while for Angie to join RHOSLC. She joined the cast in September 2023 and was introduced as Jen Shah’s friend before becoming a full-time cast member.
She auditioned for RHOSLC in 2019, but they recently saw her potential. Wise as her age, the businesswoman, wife and mother, has been a hairdresser since she was 21 years old and has a 13-year-old son.
RHOSLC fans baffled by age
A thread was launched on Reddit to discuss Angie’s real age. One fan wrote: “When I told them, my jaw dropped when he said he got married at 25 on his 25th wedding anniversary.”
Another wrote: “She looks great, I’m surprised she drinks, she’s obviously had work done but her skin looks amazing,” while one fan said: “I think it’s just that she doesn’t feel 50. His essence is decades younger.
However, not everyone agrees. Some thought she was already 50, with one writing: “I love Angie and she looks good but she looks her age, maybe a few years younger but not 35.”

They have been in a relationship for 24 years.
Angie has been in a relationship with her business partner and husband, Shawn Trujillo, for 24 years, and they have known each other for 30. The spouses, who married in 1999, are the founders of Lunatic Fringe Salons.
Shawn Trujillo, a hairstylist and fitness lover, became the new househusband of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in season 4. He met Angie when she was helping out at a salon at age 19.
“I saw this hot guy with huge muscles blow-drying his hair and I thought, ‘I have to meet this guy.’ Handsome, muscular and could I do my hair? It was love at first sight,” Angie explained.
