The Real Housewives of Orange County has followed her personal and professional life for over a decade. However, before her reality TV fame, Heather Dubrow was on a CBS television series for two years.

Heather Dubrow has an acting past
Heather Dubrow was an actress for years. She played the role of Lydia DeLucca on the CBS television series That’s Life from 2000 to 2002, and continued acting until 2017.
Her first acting debut was in 1994, when she played Cherise on Married… with Children, which led to several appearances on television series such as Men Behaving Badly and Jenny.
Films also featured Dubrow until 2017, such as Now You Know in 2002. Her most recent performance was in Young & Hungry, playing Natasha Cook Campbell in one episode.
RHOC Fans Think She’s ‘Falking Stories’
Although RHOC has been Dubrow’s longest-running appearance, fans are convinced she is performing in front of the cameras in a bid to get hired to act. A Reddit thread was launched to talk about his “performance.”
One fan wrote: “Does anyone else get the feeling that because no one will hire her to act, Heather chooses to “act” on the show?” Another said: “I can’t stand his fake smiles and fake conversations at all.”
“One million percent of Heather sees the show as an acting job. There is no part of her that is interested in sharing her real life or her real thoughts and emotions,” another Bravo viewer guessed.
She is “here to start conversations”
Despite fan theories, Dubrow’s Instagram bio literally states that her purpose is to “start conversations.” He also previously said that he took a break from acting to focus on his four children.
Heather has also written three books on health and wellness. The first was in 2016, teaching his guide to the best anti-aging treatments, followed by The Dubrow Diet and The Dubrow Keto Fusion Diet.
She may not be getting acting jobs, but hosting is what suits Dubrow! In June 2020, it was announced that she and her husband Terry Dubrow would host and produce The Seven Year Stitch for E!.
