This July, Autumn Crittendon from MTV’s 16 and Pregnant sadly lost her life. He was only 27 years old. Autumn’s journey to motherhood was documented during her time on reality television. She welcomed her first child, Drake, during season 5 of the show that aired ten years ago.

Following the tragic news of Autumn’s passing, the cause of her death has been revealed. TMZ exclusively reports, months after his death, that a “combination of drugs” took the MTV star’s life. He leaves behind his three children, Drake, Luke and Abigail.

Autumn was found dead in July

On July 20, Autumn Crittendon was found “unconscious” at a residence in Sandston, Virginia.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation into her death was launched.

Many fans and followers of the late MTV star took to social media to pay tribute to him following his untimely death.

Autumn’s sister, Misty, confirmed her death via Facebook.

Since Autumn’s death, Misty has taken to social media to pay tribute to her sister.

In the days following Autumn’s death, Misty launched a GoFundMe page to raise money for funeral costs.

She wrote in a Facebook post: “Bear with me because this is extremely painful and doing all of this is something I never imagined I would be doing.”

On the GoFundMe page, Misty explains how her “world fell apart” on July 20 and how Autumn “will never be forgotten.”

The cause of death of the 16-year-old pregnant star

In July, an investigation into Autumn’s death was launched.

Now, TMZ is exclusively reporting his cause of death through the Virginia Department of Health.

He died of a drug overdose according to the report: “His cause of death was fentanyl and parafluorofentanyl toxicity…an illicit synthetic opioid similar to fentanyl.”

“According to the Virginia Department of Health, Autumn’s manner of death is listed as accidental.”

When Autumn’s cause of death was revealed, Misty took to Facebook to share how much she misses her sister:

“Growing up, it was always just the two of us. We all did it together, including becoming mothers. Then we raised our babies together and then they did everything together. We miss you so much, beautiful. “I love you more than you have ever known.”
