This season’s favorite couple on Love Is Blind is clean energy policy consultant Taylor Krause and quantum physicist Garrett Josemans. This sweet pair of nerds, from different backgrounds, fell in love sight unseen with a shared love of all things science. While fans wait patiently until the season finale on October 23 to find out if these two are chemically bonded for life, Taylor drops a hint on social media that the couple might still be together.
Garrett undergoes a glare
Crowned the cutest couple, these scholars were one of the first to fall in love on the show. Brought together by chance with a pair of matching scientific tattoos!
Of course, the Love Is Blind cast is staying tight-lipped, to avoid spoilers, about whether this couple is still two positively charged ions floating in a romantic sea of electrons.
The show, of course, tries to imply that all is not well. Previews for the next episode show Taylor crying at the group’s upcoming reunion party. Apparently, Garrett has been texting his ex. Whether it’s a deal-breaker or a dramatic edit, fans are eager to find out.
Since the beginning of season 7, Garrett follows Taylor on Instagram, but not the other way around. However, some shared vacation photos hint that the couple may have taken a getaway to Europe together.
On October 12, Taylor dropped another sneaky hint on TikTok that the couple may still be together. Wearing sunglasses, he furtively glances from left to right as the video displays the caption: “But was it me?”
Moving his head to the side revealed an image of a shiny new Garrett with longer hair perfectly styled and sizzling into the camera.
‘Congratulations to the chef’
However, to keep fans guessing, the video’s title reads, “Breakup glow or wife effect?”
One fan responded to the video: “Someone marinated, seasoned, sautéed and cooked! “You did your thing.”
To which Taylor hinted that she might have been the chef of this particular dish with a cheeky: “Kudos to the chef.”
But the environmentalist does not leave it so easy for us. In response to another commenter who insists it must be the “wife effect” since “no one is posting their ex-fiancé’s glow.”
Taylor is adamant, in fact she would: “I agree… but it’s not very normal to have an ex from a reality show and have your entire commitment on Netflix. We need a little humor! To all the exes I have had, good or bad, I wish you the best.”
Come on Taylor, give the fans something!
Another fan did some of the research work for us; In another video uploaded to TikTok, the user shared how she thinks this is, in fact, 100% wife effect.
Their evidence is: Taylor repeatedly made fun of Garrett for not liking his hair on the show. In response, Garrett said he would do “literally anything to make Taylor happy.”
Well, this wife’s effect on the nation is certainly to make viewers tune in to the finale on Netflix, so they can find out what happens.
