Love is Blind fans have come up with a theory that businesses are closing as part of a “curse” of the show. Two businesses from season 7, including an adventure park and a restaurant, have already closed.
Netflix follows a group of singles who gather in groups and end up as married couples, if they stand the test of their honeymoons. Love is Blind regularly films in restaurants and outings during the duo’s dates.

Love is Blind theory revolves around a ‘curse’
A theory has emerged that when the Love is Blind couples film in places like restaurants and adventure parks, the business closes later. It comes after three businesses closed following season 7.
Quattro Osteria, where Taylor and Garrett visited for a date, closed permanently, as did Summit Ropes, where Nick and Hannah jumped from a height for an adrenaline-filled bonding moment.
One fan wrote in a Reddit thread: “This season I’ve always searched every single filming location in the DMV and 3 of them from the recent episodes are permanently closed… is it the curse of Love Is Blind?”
Another viewer said: “If they agree to be the backdrop for a big TV show, maybe it’s because business is slow and they’re desperate for exposure?”
A fellow fan said: “Hey this is really crazy 😳💀.”
Some fans thought Birch and Barley appeared, but it was The Crown & Crow later on that hosted a DC watch party. The Crown & Crow is still open, while the misguided Birch and Barley, which did not appear, closed and reopened as Mallard. Ciel Social Lounge is also nearby, where Taylor and Garrett visited for another date.
Another season 7 filming location was Sip and Develop, where Hannah had a photo shoot, which remains open. Rixey is also marketing, as is Adams Morgan’s Plntr store for pressed flowers.
