Sister Wives’ Brown family faces a breakup during season 19, but what’s not new? The split between Kody Brown and some of his children has been brewing for some time. But it all proves too much for Robyn Brown, as the entire scenario hits close to home due to her own childhood. She breaks down crying for her biological father.
During season 19 of Sister Wives, Kody Brown tells cameras that Robyn is “extremely upset” because she “isn’t reaching out to her kids.” The 18-year-old father began his foray into fame with four wives. Now he only has one wife left. During episode 4, Robyn puts pressure on the rift in the family and even tells Kody that he’s questioning his “respect for her.”

Robyn urges Kody to ‘try’ with his kids
TLC’s Sister Wives is full of explosive moments throughout season 19.
Kody and Robyn’s candid conversation about their kids is certainly one of them.
As Robyn pressures Kody to get closer to his kids, he defends himself and asks her what she’s “done wrong.”
He says: “I’m only guilty of not falling madly in love with their mothers. In fact, Madison called Janelle and said, ‘Daddy said he didn’t love you.'”
“I never said I didn’t love Janelle, on the contrary, I actually said I love Janelle. This is a rumor that was created in the family. Our family was killed by gossip,” he gets angry.
Robyn tells the cameras that she wants to reason with Kody, explaining, “You don’t want to be this guy.”
She tells her husband: “I just want to know that you’re trying. Because these relationships need to be repaired.”
Kody says he wants to focus on his relationship with Robyn instead of his kids right now: “It hurts us more than it hurts them,” he tells her.
Kody’s eyes fill with tears as he explains to Robyn how his “heart is broken” while referring to her as the “person he loves most in the world.”
He tells his wife that he is “very angry” about the rift between him and their children.
Robyn approaches Kody and asks him to “promise” to “try” with her kids.
“A little to let them know you still care. They need you and you need them,” she says through tears.
The stage hits close to home for Robyn
Sister Wives season 19 scene gets super heated and emotional. It turns out that the whole scenario sounds very familiar to Robyn.
Fighting back tears, she tells Kody, “You know my biological father didn’t do what he was supposed to do as far as a father goes.”
Kody affirms himself after being compared to Robyn’s biological father: “I’m not going to abandon my children. “They have betrayed me, perhaps without realizing it.”
From the looks of it, Robyn is worried that history could repeat itself if Kody doesn’t make an effort to mend his relationships with his kids.
Drawing on her own experience as a child, she explained how her biological father, Robert Marck, was absent and came up with “lame excuses” when she “confronted him” about “not having been there for her when she was young,” Distractify reports. . .
During Sister Wives, Robyn refers to her stepfather, Paul Howard Sullivan, as “dad.” Sadly he passed away two years ago and Robyn is listed in his obituary.
