He bluntly responds: “We don’t have years, we need your license so you can do whatever you want.”

In a confessional, Chris tells the cameras: “I don’t understand why Tammy doesn’t necessarily want to learn to drive because she knows how frustrating it is to wait and call people for a ride…”

He speculates: “Maybe it’s that… maybe it’s the fear of not needing someone. Because she went from basically being a bedridden person who was waited on hand and foot to someone who can do whatever she wants.”

Chris adds: “Being able to drive is the last part of the puzzle…”

Sitting next to Tammy in the golf cart, he tells her, “There’s nothing stopping you except fear.”
