Reality shows to watch instead of the US elections

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

RHOSLC has been full of drama this season. It has primarily focused on Whitney Rose and her husband feuding with Lisa Barlow and her husband, John, after she accused Barlow of spreading rumors.

If you haven’t seen the Bravo series before, it follows a group of glamorous, party-loving Salt Lake City housewives who get along incredibly well or essentially diss each other.

1000 pound sisters

Tammy and Amy Slaton have been trying to lose weight for years. The 1,000-pound sisters continue their journey as they attempt to undergo skin removal surgery, as they have both lost hundreds of pounds since 2020.

Her siblings appear often on the TLC show, while their personal sister relationship (including big fights) provides great entertainment. This season, Tammy and Amy will be renewed.

If you prefer more educational shows than drama-filled reality shows, Moonshiners is the one for you. American elections teach you how to choose the best leader, but this series gives you a taste of alcohol.

This show fills the void left by Deadliest Catch, as the Moonshiners cast drives down the infamous Thunder Road to investigate the murder of Lightning Lloyd Seay in the November 5 episode.

The Real Housewives of New York

The Real Housewives of New York is similar to RHOSLC, but of course the glamorous stars live in the Big Apple. Erin hosts a Cinco de Mayo party to celebrate her line of mezcal on the November 5 episode.

Brynn struggles to make peace with Ubah and Sai, Racquel reveals why she kept her engagement private; at dinner, and Jessel drops a bomb on Pavit that could affect their marriage.

The Great British Baking Show

The Great British Baking Show, known in the UK as The Great British Bake Off, can be broadcast in the US. Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith and the show’s hosts are on hand to critique the bakers’ cakes.

Based in the UK, talented bakers go head-to-head (or oven to oven) to make spectacular cakes, pastries, breads and cookies, all in the hope of making it to the next round.
