Molly O’Connell is no stranger to the cameras. She starred on America’s Next Top Model, where she rocked a “hell of a weave,” but now she’s bringing flirty drama to season 10 of Southern Charm.
Based in Charleston, Molly O’Connell only had one thing left to check off: Southern Charm. Her co-stars describe her as “weird but in a good way,” and she used to send flirtatious text messages to Craig Conover.

Molly O’Connell first rose to fame on season 16 of America’s Next Top Model in 2010. She finished in second place, but her negative attitude left the judges unsure if she would do well in the industry.
She was known for producing beautiful images that surprised and captivated the judges. O’Connell also managed four first calls, two second calls and won a challenge.
The model was in the bottom two twice, the first time because of her hair problems and the second time with Jaclyn because of her bad attitude. He was saved both times and eventually made it to the final two.
In the final two, Molly’s portfolio was considered strong, but she lost to Brittani Kline, due to the winner’s excellent runway walk, Covergirl commercial, and her equally impressive portfolio.

Molly claims she used to send flirty text messages to Craig, but adds that she’s “not trying to steal him from Paige.” [Desorbo]”. She plays the trumpet, is described as “weird but in a good way,” and lives in Charleston.
She has been friends with the cast for a long time and even appeared in the background of previous seasons. “She is most likely drunk in the background pretending to play the harp,” he wrote in 2019.
Molly has now returned home to be closer to her family and friends, and her long-running entanglements with the men in the group lead her to wonder exactly how she fits in.
Southern Charm Star Leaf Fabric
Molly is remembered for a “hell weave” she wore in ANTM. Fans will “never forget” the knit she wore long ago, which she refers to as an “evil noodle knit 😂😂.”
She blamed Tyra Banks for making her the “worst weave ever created.” The long, thick, blonde weave she was given on makeover day caused the runner-up major problems during the cycle.
Her first problem was when the weaver sewed the fabric incorrectly, so only half of her head remained, but Tyra had it remade much to Molly’s relief. However, the new fabric caused problems with the scalp.
The problems only led to Molly’s angry attitude, and she appeared in the bottom two twice, the first time with Dalya for letting her hair problems affect her jaguar photo shoot. Finally, Tyra pulled out the fabric.
