Christine Brown decided not to invite two of the sister wives involved in her former polygamous relationship. She left Kody Brown, who had four wives, when she married David Wooley.
Sister Wives follows the life of a polygamous marriage involving Kody Brown and his four wives. There is only one left, Robyn Brown, since Christine Brown, Meri and Janelle decided to call it quits.
Christine Brown married David ‘quickly’
Christine Brown married David Wooley “quickly,” according to her children. Her son, Paedon Brown, was worried that she would move on so quickly, and he wasn’t the only one of his children who feared the worst.
They married in October 2023, almost a year after Meri Brown left Kody. She became Kody’s first wife when they were legally married in 1990, before he married Robyn Brown.
Before getting engaged, Christine and her boyfriend of one month were immersed in wedding planning, touring wedding venues in Utah and discussing their massive guest list on the Nov. 3 episode.
She didn’t invite Meri or Robyn.
Christine “wasn’t ready” to be with Meri, Robyn or Kody Brown. “We will invite Janelle [Brown] To our wedding, Janelle’s children,” Christine shared about Janelle and her six children, adding that Meri’s son, Leon, is invited.
Janelle and Christine have been close during their time as Sister Wives and after, when Janelle followed her decision to leave Kody. She announced her separation from him in 2022, months after Christine.
With a minimum of 350 people invited, Christine noted that if she were to actually invite all of David and his family members, she would need to send out 700 invitations. “We have very big families,” he revealed.
“I have six kids, but we have 18 kids total in my family and then David,” Christine added, while David said, “Christine deserves to have a big, nice wedding that she never had.”
