Kandy Muse looks “damn beautiful”
Kandy is often praised for her makeup looks, and many note how much the artistic talents of the queen’s face have developed to this day, since she starred on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Now Kandy is in House of Villains, fans are wondering if drag artist Raven Hunty has been doing her makeup. Muse began their bearded era in 2015, their most popular makeup era.

Minimal makeup also works in Kandy
Kandy Muse usually starts her makeup videos without product on her face. Many say that when she’s dressed as a woman, she “looks like a literal filter,” and her House of Villains co-stars adore her.
She “was very lucky to be in this cast where everyone accepted her,” as she told People. “I don’t think anyone has ever been around a drag queen like they were in this house, and everyone was so intrigued.”
Making history as the first House of Villains drag queen, she thought she would feel “a little uncomfortable,” but added, “I think even though Drag Race is a huge show, this show has a very big platform.”
Viewers blame makeup lighting
When House of Villains viewers first saw Kandy’s latest makeup look, they blamed the lighting in the house. One fan who said her makeup had an “interesting approach” thought someone else had done her face.
“I think the lighting is also very poor and particularly unflattering for many cast members with deeper skin tones. The shadows of the sky are unforgivable. The New York promotion is tough too,” said one fan.
Another wrote: “Makeup in general isn’t that bad. The lights around the forehead are a little suspect, but the studio lighting is the biggest culprit here.”
