A year later, the death of Matthew Perry continues to cause shock among his fans. The Friends actor, who died on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54, was found dead at his residence in Los Angeles due to the “acute effects of ketamine.”
Twelve months after this property, located in Pacific Palisades, has changed ownership, and has been sold for an amount of 8.5 million dollars (about 7,800,000 euros).

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, the 320-square-meter, four-bedroom mansion has been purchased by Anita Verma-Lallian, a film producer and real estate developer.
As revealed by Anita’s representative, she intends to use the property for her vacation.
This property was acquired in 2020 and was also renovated by Perry himself, who even decorated it with several details that reflected his passion for ‘Batman’.
Then, the cost amounted to 6 million dollars (5.5 million euros), according to the real estate records that the aforementioned media has been able to consult.
The sale of what was Perry’s home has come to light at a difficult time for the actor’s family, since it is exactly one year since his death this Monday. In addition, they have already shared some intimate memories of Perry and his home on several television programs.
Despite the passage of time, the actor’s death remains under investigation. The autopsy revealed high levels of ketamine and traces of opioids in his body, which is why authorities are investigating where they came from.
It should be remembered that Dr. Mark Chávez confessed to having distributed ketamine to Perry, for which he could face a sentence of up to 10 years in prison, as explained by CNN.
On the other hand, Perry’s personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and trafficker Jasveen Sangha, are awaiting trial due to their suspicious involvement in the case.
