British Married At First Sight star Kristina Goodsell assures fans that she is “thriving” this November following her exit from the show. Kristina and Kieran Chapman left fans “heartbroken” when they decided to vote “leave” the dating experiment and end their marriage.
This November, many E4 viewers are apparently having a hard time coming to terms with the idea of Kristina and Kieran no longer being a couple. The couple’s roller coaster relationship was one featured in series 9 of Married At First Sight UK. Kieran and Kristina’s romance had fans hooked as they navigated all kinds of challenges together. It seems like people thought they would walk away, but their decision to “leave” proves otherwise.

After weeks of getting to know Kieran and Kristina, and watching their love story unfold, many viewers were unprepared for the two to go their separate ways during the Nov. 5 episode.
While fans come to terms with Kristina and Kieran breaking up, their co-stars show their support in the couple’s Instagram comments.
Many write that they are “proud” of the duo. Others comment on how the two had “an amazing marriage” even though they have now opted out.
Kristina urges ‘stop the negativity’
As Kristina and Kieran go their separate ways, many fans are taking to social media to ask if they “missed something,” asking, “How did you go from being one of the most involved couples to… the friend zone?”
More say they are “gutted” by the couple’s decision to split and more criticize Kieran for “wasting Kristina’s time” and “being hung up on his ex.”
But, in a joint Instagram post, the couple explains where they both stand following their decision.
Kieran writes: “This sounds brutal, I know… but I wasn’t the man for Kristina, and she deserves someone to put her on a pedestal…”
While many people express their opinions in the comments section, Kristina urges them to “stop the negativity.”
She assures fans that she and Kieran are “thriving in their own ways,” adding that they are “celebrating each other for how far we’ve both come.”
It’s clear to see that Kieran and Kristina are greatly adored by their fans and co-stars as they end season 9 as friends.
