Yeimi Licona, Shin Fujiyama’s girlfriend, received him with a tremendous kiss after the Japanese arrived at the border point of ‘El Poy’, between Honduras and El Salvador, after 105 days running from the Mexico border with the United States to complete his 3,000 kilometer challenge to raise funds to build schools in Honduras.
In an exclusive video captured by journalist Yeison Maldonado you can see the meeting of the couple, who are waiting for their first daughter. A hug, a kiss and a huge smile were the protagonists of Yeimi’s greeting to Shin.

After a few minutes, the Japanese philanthropist continued his journey, while Yeimi continued on a bus.
Shin was received by hundreds of people who came to greet him and congratulate him on his feat. Banners, music, shouts and applause were not lacking during Shin’s arrival in Ocotepeque, where he will be given the keys to the city as a gesture of recognition.
Fujiyama has traveled to three countries (Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador) as part of the challenge to raise funds, which will be allocated to education in Honduras.
