RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, have taken to social media in recent weeks to share snippets of their son’s health struggles. The Bravo stars are parents to son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, eight.
PK and Dorit took to Instagram earlier this year to announce that they were separating. The couple’s marital problems aside, PK now hails Dorit as a “great mother” and it seems like they are coming together to take care of their children. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shares a revealing update with her fans this Halloween about her son’s recent health issues.
Dorit shares an update on Jagger
Six weeks ago, Dorit and PK shared with the world that their 10-year-old son had been hospitalized.
On October 16, PK wrote about Jagger’s illness: “Our little Jagger hasn’t been feeling well for the last few weeks, mom and dad have been with him at the wonderful @cedarssinai and we wanted to publicly thank them and the doctors and nurses …we are still here, but he is recovering… he is our Rocky… an image was captured of him yawning… but I love the shot…”
Since then, both parents have provided some updates for Bravo fans.
However, Dorit’s latest update gives insight into what Jagger has really been dealing with.
She explains: “The past month has been very difficult for our family. “Jagger had 2 surgeries in less than a week for a septic hip, he had to stay in the hospital for almost 2 weeks and just when we thought it was all over, we had a setback this week.”
Detailing the health ordeal her young son has been going through, Dorit explains how he was desperate to continue enjoying Halloween this fall.
The RHOBH star explains how in awe she is of her son: “Thankfully, this incredibly brave and brave little boy is a fighter (like Rocky, as he would say) and we were able to enjoy Halloween like he desperately wanted. That made this Halloween very special for all of us…”
“I am amazed and so proud of our little munchkin, his strength, his positive mindset and his positive attitude that he has maintained through everything he has been through. Feeling blessed and hopeful that better days will come,” she adds.
Dorit’s fans and friends took to the comments to say they “hope” Jagger “feels better” and “stays strong” after his septic hip surgeries.
