Real Housewives of New York City star Racquel Chevremont has finally debuted her massive engagement ring. His fiancée Mel got down on one knee to propose during a motorcycle ride.
Racquel Chevremont made history as the second queer woman on a Real Housewives franchise earlier this year. Now she’s showing off her wealth, but her co-star Jessel compared her new ring to a Kindergarten egg.

Racquel Chevremont debuts engagement ring
Real Housewives of New York City newbie Racquel Chevremont debuted her incredibly unique engagement ring on the October 16 episode. She described it as a “work of art.”
Her engagement ring has “black diamonds, white diamonds and cognac diamonds.” She revealed in a confessional: “I’m, you know, I’m very me. It is a work of art in my hand.”
The Chevremont engagement ring is a thick interlocking gold band with two center diamonds surrounded by smaller diamonds, and it takes up most of her bridal hand!
RHONY Star Makes Kinder Egg Joke
Racquel’s RHONY co-star Jessel asked if the engagement ring her fiancee Mel gave her was a Kinder toy egg. She made the joke in a confessional, so fortunately Racquel was not the target of the comment.
Jessel added that if her partner gave her that, she would say, “Did you get that from a Kinder egg? “I would think it was a hoax.” Designer and RHONY friend Rebecca Minkoff asked, “Do you wear this every day?”
“Yes,” Chevremont responded. “I love it,” Minkoff, 42, added. One fan said of Jessel’s comments: “Of course Jessel would throw shade at Racquel’s ring.”
Chevremont and Lyon compare rings
Chevremont and Jenna Lyons compared rings on Sherri’s show. Lyons said, “I thought I did good, but look at this, it pales in comparison,” while Chevremont said her co-star’s ring is impressive.
Art collector Racquel explained that hers is “more sculptural,” while Lyons added that when they were shopping for rings, she often said the diamonds “weren’t big enough” and would choose a large one.
Explaining that she is 6 feet tall, Sherri said, “This ring is a cute girl, I feel like I’m about to have a fit.” Lyons is engaged to photographer Cass Bird and was the first to become a queer housewife.
