Veronika Murashkina, a contestant on the Russian version of The Bachelor, has tragically passed away. The reality TV student and model died at the age of 31 while on the urgent waiting list for a lung transplant.
Veronika Murashkina passed away on Friday, October 18. She reportedly spent the last years of her life bedridden after being in a car accident four years ago. His “immune system was weakened” and he battled a serious lung illness in his final days, The Daily Star reports.

Playboy model and The Russian Bachelor star Veronika tragically died just days before receiving a lung transplant.
According to The Mirror, his death was confirmed by a friend, who told local media: “After the serious accident, his leg was literally rebuilt piece by piece.
“She was treated for a long time, stayed in clinics and recovered. It seemed like her problems were finally in the past, but then a new one came when lung disease hit her.
Veronika was on the waiting list for a transplant, but did not live to see it. “This brilliant person passed away tonight.”
Sadly, the reality star passed away on October 18 at the age of 31.

Veronika rose to fame in 2017 modeling for Playboy. The same year, she was one of the contestants competing for the heart of the Russian version of The Bachelor’s Ilya Glinnikov.
The Toguchin native lived in Moscow and had a background in economics before turning to modeling, The Daily Mail reports.
Following the 2020 car accident, Veronika “…had to give up her modeling career and instead dedicated herself to crafting.”
He underwent extensive rehabilitation on his leg after it was “shattered” in the accident. Just a few days before her surgery to transplant her lung, Veronika sadly died.
