Tammy Slaton was weighed for the skin removal surgery and weighed just over 300 pounds. She was tasked with losing 100 pounds to qualify for the procedure and felt “extremely nervous” about whether she had accomplished it.
Looking back, he said he weighed 725 pounds at his “lowest point” and weighed 420 pounds at his last appointment. Now at 303 pounds, Tammy said, “Damn! “That’s five pounds less than I weighed on the Beltway.”
It is believed that Tammy must maintain her ideal weight for at least 18 months before skin removal surgery to address her “sagging skin from head to toe.” Sister Amy Slaton loves it too, because she feels like a “deflated balloon.”
Overcome an ‘incredible’ goal
Tammy’s doctor, Dr. Proctor, was shocked by her weight loss since her last appointment. He described her dedication as “incredible” and told her: “By the way, you look amazing.”
In a confessional, Tammy said, “Dr. Smith goes, my goes, everyone goes. I’m so ready to take off my skin! Her doctor is very proud of her, writing, “There are no words to describe how proud I am of @queentammy86.”
“Her journey is a true testament to her determination, and she absolutely deserves it,” he added, saying in a video: “Tammy’s journey hasn’t always been easy, it hasn’t always been linear.”
The 1,000-pound Sisters star hits back at trolls
Tammy posted a TikTok video responding to a follower who wrote in the comments of the star’s video: “Just a question not trying to be rude but do you know if your chin will go away?”
“You say you’re not trying to be rude, but why the hell would you ask this in the first place? My ‘chin flap’ is not a chin flap. “It is literally excess skin and yes, it will go away when I have skin removal surgery,” she said.
In the five-minute video, Tammy Slaton tells fans that she “doesn’t know” when she will undergo skin removal surgery. Despite this, he said, “Even if I knew, I couldn’t say it since it’s part of the program.”
