Tina no longer appears on 1000-Lb Best Friends

When 1000-Lb Best Friends season 3 premieres in October, it’s clear that Tina Arnold is no longer a member of the cast.

The former reality TV star addressed her departure from the show via Instagram in September.

She explains how her decision to leave was partly her own choice, as well as partly influenced by “production.”

Tina explains in her post that she didn’t make the decision to leave “lightly.”

She claims that the show’s “focus” changed for season 3: “I was informed that the focus would now be exclusively on weight-loss surgery, and since I wasn’t performing surgery, there was no longer a place for me on the show.” . .”

Basically, Tina claims that because she opted not to undergo surgical procedures to help her in her weight loss journey, there was “no place” for her “on the show.”

TLC star’s weight loss journey continues

1000-Lb Best Friends alum Tina may have parted ways with the show, but she’s still continuing her weight loss journey.

The former TLC star writes in her post that she “would like to leave that part of my life” and now posts in her IG bio that she is a literary agent.

According to an update she posted on October 23, Tina is doing very well these days.

She shares snaps of herself from “then” and “now” and writes in the caption: “Everyone’s journey is different and while I may not have taken the fast route of weight loss surgery, I’m incredibly Proud of the weight I’ve lost. until now.”

Tina is choosing a different weight loss route than her former co-stars and details some of the obstacles she faces in life: “I’m doing this out of sheer determination while managing PCOS, perimenopause, depression, anxiety and daily stress. stresses of life.

She says, “I’m proud of how far I’ve come and I’m still moving forward.”
