A woman who was dedicated to commerce, preliminarily identified as Suyapa, lost her life violently in a shooting that occurred this Friday afternoon on the European Economic Community Boulevard near the Toncontín airport, in Comayagüela, in the capital of Honduras.
As detailed by Miguel Martínez Madrid, spokesperson for the National Police, HRNThe female, who was selling tamales, was attacked by two men on a motorcycle and her body was left lying near the Honduran Customs offices.

On the other hand, the daughter of the now deceased was shot in her face, leaving her seriously injured, for which she was taken to an emergency hospital in the city, according to national media.
After the attack, a Police patrol arrived at the scene to carry out preliminary investigations of the case and an operation was deployed in the area to find the suspects of the crime.
Meanwhile, the possible motives for the crime have not yet been determined and it has not yet been determined whether there were any arrests on suspicion of the shooting near the Toncontín airport.
However, although it has not been confirmed that the crime was caused by possible links to illegal activities, it is being investigated whether it is related to the sale of substances not permitted in the area.
